Dometic Marine Names Ben Haynes Director of OEM Sales for Commercial Marine

In his new role, Haynes is responsible for leading commercial and workboat projects involving a wide range of Dometic equipment, including HVAC technologies, engine-room ventilation, sanitation systems, watermakers and refrigerators.

Miami Beach, Fla. – Feb. 2, 2015Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of products for the marine industry, today announced that Ben Haynes has been promoted to Dometic Director of OEM Sales for Commercial Marine, focusing on commercial, military and custom boat builders in North and South America.

In his new role, Mr. Haynes is responsible for leading commercial and workboat projects involving a wide range of Dometic equipment, including HVAC Direct Expansion and Chilled Water, Air Purification, Engine-room Ventilation, Sanitation, Watermakers and Refrigerators. The Commercial Marine OEM sales team will work with builders and integrators in several areas of the Commercial Industry, targeting oil and gas vessels, tugs, OSVs, military vessels, state and government vessels, ferry boats, cruise ships, crew boats, pilot boats, scientific research boast, patrol boats, fireboats and oil skimmers.

A 27-year veteran of Dometic, Mr. Haynes previously served as Technical Sales Manager for the U.S. Northeast and Northwest, where he was responsible for working directly with OEM manufacturers. Prior to that role, he managed sales in the Midwest, North Florida-Georgia, and Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career at Dometic, he spent eight years in production and three years in customer service.
