Activity is considered to employ about 40 people and have annual sales of SEK 60-70 million.
Dometic and Arktic Products AB have signed an agreement for contract manufacturing of vaccines-, wine-, and gas refrigerators, water purifiers and cooker hoods for Dometic Group needs.
"The reasons for us taking over this activity is to create jobs both directly but also among existing suppliers such as B-Pe Plåt AB and AB TeknoPlast whose owner Mikael Pettersson and Ingvar Carlsson are also involved in this ownership", says Lars Johansson CEO, Arktic Products AB.
Production will take place in Dometic's existing facilities where Arktic Products AB is one of several tenants. The agreement allows mutual guarantees among other things, future production volumes.
"It is gratifying that we have found this solution for our “other products”, which means that some 40 jobs in Motala are saved and that we ensure a reliable supplier for these vital products. Lars Johansson has very good knowledge and understanding of our company, our products and production, promising a fruitful collaboration.
