New VacuFlush 4800 Toilet Series

With 2 Efficient Flush Settings

Dometic Marine, the world-leading supplier of marine sanitation equipment has launched the new 4800 VacuFlush® Toilet Series.

Providing users with a choice of two efficient flush settings, the 4800 Series incorporates exceptionally low water consumption with the powerful, bowl-cleaning performance of Dometic VacuFlush® technology.

Furthermore, the 4800 is available in 12V DC or 24V DC operating versions and standard or low-profile heights to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements.

The reliable and compact 4800 toilet is powered by VacuFlush® technology, providing users with a powerful and efficient vacuum flush system. Using 0.25 gal (0.95 litre) per flush in the 'normal' flush mode and 0.125 gal (0.5 litre) in the 'dry-bowl' mode, the 4800 maximizes use of the holding tank between pump-outs, using significantly less water than manual and other electric toilets.

The toilet is operated by a wall-mounted switch which can be connected to the tank's level indicator system to provide 'full tank' automatic shut-down. When the toilet's holding tank is full, the power to the toilet is automatically disabled, preventing further use until the tank is emptied.

Featuring a small footprint, the 4800 toilet can be easily installed into virtually any head compartment. Providing exceptional flexibility, both through-the-floor and through-the-wall discharge options are available and can be specified in accordance with design, interior and layout requirements. The easy-to-clean ceramic styling of the 4800 is available in white or bone colours.

Boat owners can also choose from a range of options to meet individual requirements, including toilet/bidet combinations, matching free-standing bidet fixtures and Vimar and Gewiss wall-mounted switches.

Dometic Marine will continue to introduce new models to its VacuFlush® range during 2010, which will be available with a variety of new features including straight-back designs, 'slow-close' action seats and low water and electric consumption technology.
