MTD Modular Tempering Unit

Air Conditioning From 24K to 120K BTUs

Cruisair's MTD is a modular tempered water unit engineered for optimal use of the new environmentally safe R-410A refrigerant. This tempered water unit provides intallation flexibility, reliability, maximum performance, and easy accessibility for maintenance and repair. It is reverse cycle to provide cooling or heating.

The MTD is available in capacities of 24,000 BTU/hr (2-ton) to 120,000 BTU/hr (10-ton). Multiple MTD units can be staged in any combination to achieve higher capacities.

  • Hot-gas bypass valve maintains heating performance in cold seawater and helps prevent water freezing in the heat exchanger.
