Stockholm, Schweden – May 18, 2022 Dometic startet in die nächste Phase seiner Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie. Alle Dometic Produktionsanlagen in Europa werden jetzt zu 100 % mit Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien versorgt. Die dadurch erziele Emissionseinsparung entspricht in etwa dem jährlichen CO2-Ausstoß von 1.000 PKW. Dies ist ein weiterer Schritt in Richtung Ziel: der Versorgung der Produktionsstandorte ausschließlich mit nachhaltig erzeugtem Strom.

Stockholm, Sweden 7/10 2021, Dometic übernimmt wichtige Rolle bei der Einführung neuer Materialen für mehr Nachhaltigkeit. Um seinen umweltbewussten Kunden weniger belastende Produkte zu bieten stellt Dometic das neue REDUX Material vor. Der leichte Polyester aus 100 % recycelten Plastikflaschen ist nach Global Recycled Standard zertifiziert und wird zukünftig für zahlreiche neue Produkte verwendet.

Dometic hat sich vorgenommen, seine Energieeffizienz zu steigern und auf erneuerbare Energiequellen umzusteigen, um den CO2-Fußabdruck der Anhänger des mobilen Lebensstils noch weiter zu senken. Das Ziel lautet, die Kohlenstoffemissionen, die durch betriebliche Aktivitäten verursacht werden, bis 2030* um 50 % zu senken.
