Dometic unterstützt die stadt Helsinki bei der belieferung von senioren
Zur Unterstützung der Versorgung älterer Menschen, die aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie aktuell vorsichtshalber lieber zuhause bleiben, rief die Stadt Helsinki den Helsinki-Helpline-Service ins Leben. Die elektrische Kühlbox CFX3 von Dometic spielt dabei eine wichtige Rolle - denn sie sorgt dafür, dass die Frische und Qualität der Lebensmittel bis an die Wohnungstür erhalten bleibt.
On 20 March, the City of Helsinki teamed up with local parishes and charity organisations and started a new service for the self-isolating elderly population. The Helsinki Helpline is a phone-in service for residents over 70 years of age. For as long as the coronavirus crisis continues, older people in Helsinki can call into the service for a chat or request help with errands and other everyday needs. During the first week of operations, the service called over 10,000 residents over the age of 70 and received over 700 requests for help with trips to the shops and pharmacy.
Dometic has a vital role in this initiative. Dometic’s new electric cooler, the Dometic CFX3, is equipped to the service cars to store groceries and medicines in order to keep the quality of the goods until they will reach the doors of the residents in need.
Last mile delivery or mobile delivery has become an increased part of today’s society. Temperature controlled transportation is needed for delivery of groceries, medicines, or foods from restaurants. Many households are using meal kit delivery service to spare time for shopping and convenience.
