This control switch extends the functionality of your Dometic PerfectView CAM 440 dual-vision camera. Using the two buttons you can conveniently switch between close and far view, regardless of whether you are driving backwards or forwards. If you have a CAM 440E add-on camera installed, you can also use the switch to change between the two cameras as required.

Close-range view while reversing, far-range view while driving – the dual-function lens of the CAM 440 (CAM 440E) supports both. If you add the CAM 440CS control switch to your system, you can freely switch between the two viewing modes without shifting gears.
The unique modular design of the Dometic PerfectView CAM 440 allows many application options. The CAM 440 basic set is equipped with a small ball-shaped camera which provides a rear and far view feature activated by the rear gear trigger. Using the CAM 440CS control switch (sold separately) you can conveniently switch between the rear and far view mode to individually observe the area behind the vehicle. A very useful addition is the CAM 440E, which can be installed, for example, as a second camera on the lower rear to observe areas hidden under a bike rack or tail lift. The add-on camera can also be installed on the side to serve as a turn assistant, or for monitoring work tools on commercial vehicles. RVers may like the option of having a camera fitted underneath the vehicle to facilitate waste water discharge at the campsite. Dometic monitors provide up to 4 camera inputs and thus enable the video system to be expanded by other Dometic camera models.
