World’s leading mega yachts builder, Azimut|Benetti Group has decided to use latest Dometic Chilled Water as a standard on all Azimut Yachts models. Water cooled chillers are popular in the boating industry because they are quiet and more efficient compared to air cooled chillers where access to water is unlimited.

Thanks to its variable speed compressor, the Dometic Variable Capacity Chilled Water system enables low energy consumption. The latest model has up to 75,000 Btu/21 KW of Cooling/Heating capacity, its energy consumption is among the lowest in the industry.

From Azimut Yachts: “Technology and innovation are our key distinctive elements as world’s leading luxury yachts builder. We always strive to offer the best comfort to our prominent boat owners and working with Dometic for many years who helped us to reach the goal.

“From initial deployment on our Azimut Atlantis 51, we have found that Dometic’s Variable Speed Chilled Water improves both the performance of air-conditioning of our boats and our customers’ satisfaction. We have now decided to expand the usage to the entire range coming forward.”

Roberto Bonomi, Managing Director, Dometic Italy, says “We’re proud to be involved in the facelift project of amazing yachts like Azimut Atlantis 51. Dometic Variable Capacity Chilled Water system will play a key role in maximizing the comfort with lowest energy consumption.”

Azimut Yachts will showcase six models including Azimut Atlantis 51 from four different Collections at the Boot Dusseldorf 2019 show. More information about Azimut’s presence at one of the largest Boat Show is here.
