Dometic and Habitat for Humanity Partner
ELKHART, Ind. – August 28, 2018 – Dometic was proud to hold their second annual Habitat for Humanity build on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
Last year, Dometic held a panel build for one of their own employees and was excited to hold another panel build for Maleka Beard, a resident of Elkhart County, after having such a great response from employee volunteers.
The build took place in the parking lot of the Dometic Headquarters in Elkhart, IN. Over 50 Dometic employees were able to volunteer to help build during the hours of 8 am-10am or 10am-12pm.
“We are so excited that we could contribute to the beginning stages of building a house for a second year in a row,” says Scott Nelson, President of Dometic Americas. “Working along-side fellow employees and the future homeowner, Maleka, is an incredible opportunity that I am proud to be a part of. We cannot wait to see the finished home and wish Maleka well on her new journey.”
