These terms apply in addition to any statutory consumer rights that may apply in your country.

What this warranty covers
Subject to the limitations and exclusions described below, Dometic will remedy defects in materials or workmanship by, at its discretion:
Repairing the defective product
Replacing the defective product
Issuing a refund equal to the original purchase price
Issuing a credit toward the purchase of a new Dometic Front Runner Series product
Parts and labour for approved warranty remedies are provided at no charge.
Warranty periods by product category
Roof racks | Slimline 3 - Limited Lifetime Warranty
On every Dometic Front Runner Series Slimline 3 Roof Rack Kits, we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty, limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase.
Conditions:
Warranty applies to all Slimline 3 Roof Rack Kits
Warranty remains valid only while the original purchaser owns the product
Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
Roof racks must be fitted to a Dometic Front Runner Series mounting system
Installation must follow Dometic’s recommended fitment instructions
The warranty period applicable to Roof Racks applies only to complete Roof Rack Kits purchased and sold as a kit through our online store or authorized dealers.
Individual roof rack components purchased separately, whether intended for replacement purposes or for creating a custom roof rack configuration, are classified as accessories and are covered under the Accessories Warranty Terms.
A maximum driving speed of 130km/80mi per hour should be adhered to, when equipped with a Dometic or Dometic Front Runner Series Roof Rack or Load Bars.
While Dometic and Dometic Front Runner Series Racks are designed and tested for exceptional strength, the maximum permissible roof load is determined by the vehicle manufacturer. Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for the recommended load limits and take into account driving conditions, terrain, and travel speeds when loading your rack.
Racks | all other racks — 5 years
All Dometic and Dometic Front Runner Series Rack Kits and Load Bar Kits (excluding the Slimline 3 range) are warranted for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase.
Conditions:
Slimline 3 Roof Racks are excluded
Warranty remains valid only while the original purchaser owns the product
Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
Roof racks must be fitted to a Dometic or Dometic Front Runner Series mounting system

Roof rack accessories — 3 years
Dometic will warrant all Dometic Front Runner Series brand Roof Rack Accessories manufactured by Dometic Front Runner Series for the first 3 years that an original retail purchaser owns the product. The Warranty will only stand if the accessories are fitted to a Dometic Front Runner Series Roof Rack. This warranty terminates if a purchaser transfers the product to any other person or if the accessories are fitted to any rack other than a Dometic Front Runner Series Roof Rack.
Other Dometic Front Runner Series manufactured — 2 years
Dometic will warrant all Dometic Front Runner Series water tanks, drawers and sliders manufactured by Dometic Front Runner Series for the first 2 years that an original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.
Dometic Front Runner Series rooftop tents and awnings — 2 years
Dometic will warrant all Dometic Front Runner Series roof top tents and awnings for the first 2 years that an original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.
Other Dometic Front Runner Series-branded products — 1 year
Dometic will warrant all other Dometic Front Runner Series branded items, not limited to but including, Expander Chairs, Cutlery, Storage Bags and Boxes, Transit Bags, Telescopic Ladder for the first 1 year that an original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.
Other
Dometic also sells products that complement the Dometic Front Runner Series product range. When those products are purchased from or through a Dometic Reseller, Dometic will honor all original manufacturer warranties.
What is not covered by this warranty
This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:
Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, tears, or cosmetic damage
Aesthetic oxidation of surfaces
Natural fading or breakdown of colours or materials over time
Commercial use
Accidents or unlawful vehicle operation
Modifications or repairs not performed or authorised by Dometic
Misuse, overloading, or abuse
Failure to assemble, install, or use the product in accordance with Dometic’s written instructions or guidelines
Disclaimer of Liability
Repair or replacement of a defective product, or the issuance of a refund or credit (as determined by Dometic), is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo, persons, or other property is excluded.
This warranty is expressly made in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Dometic’s sole liability is limited to the remedies described above. In no event shall Dometic be liable for lost profits, lost sales, or any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
In some countries, product liability or consumer protection legislation may provide additional rights. Where applicable, such statutory rights replace the rights and conditions stated in this warranty.
