Slimline II on Ram 2500 6. 7
"Install and instructions are pretty straight forward. There were not any instructions to assemble the rack itself, but it’s not hard to figure out, and was pretty common sense. There were also no instructions to assemble the wind deflector. Again, not rocket science. You do need to drill your cab. The jack nuts supplied with the rack are absolute crap, along with the Allen head bolts supplied to pull them. They are not grade 8 and the head will just strip. Again, the jack nuts suck. I would go back Just use a hex head, don’t waste your time with the Allen head. I had one hole that the jack nut would not grip, because the metal was too thick. Not all cabs are the same thickness or may have layered steel panels. Be prepared to get creative and think outside the box. The rack doesn’t extend the length of the entire crew cab, and looks kind of off. There is a solid 6-8” from the rear of the rack to the rear of the cab. Not really a fan. Expected it to come at least a couple inches from the rear edge of the cabin. The rack itself is solid, however. It’s not going anywhere. Looks good for the most part."
