This 12-volt/25-amp AC-DC/DC-DC battery charger recharges your leisure batteries in half the time than the alternator. The universal device gives you three charging options. It can be powered by the alternator, a solar panel or a 230 V AC mains power supply. This makes it ideal for use in campers, ambulances, special vehicles and wherever else independent energy supply is paramount.

A better way to charge
The alternator is not the best device to recharge your leisure batteries. This is because sometimes they are deep-discharged, and the usage of a proper charging curve is the best way to charge them. As starter batteries are commonly lightly discharged, it may be sufficient to use the alternator only. For deep-cycle leisure batteries, however, a specific charging curve is always recommended .
