Mobile Living Back for Second Season

The lifestyle show Mobile Living, which was watched by over 1 million viewers nationally in May 2019, is set to return in early 2020 on the Seven network.

The first two episodes of the series, produced by Cameron Damon Media, followed AFL star Patrick Dangerfield and his family on their trip along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.

Eight new episodes will air from February next year, and the filming of this new season is already underway.

This time, Mobile Living will spotlight the travelling lifestyles of household names, (and their families) such as Home and Away actress, Sam Frost, Olympic Gold Medalist, Brooke Hanson, football commentator and Richmond FC legend, Matthew Richardson and Fox FM host and Carlton FC star, Brendan Fevola.

The Dangerfield family will return, however, but this time with a brand new addition to the family, baby girl Felicity.

Mobile Living has welcomed two new partners, Australia’s largest RV manufacturer, Jayco, and Ingenia Holidays.

“The Caravan Industry Association of Australia is very excited to be involved in the second series of Mobile Living starting with Sam Frost,” CIAA chief executive officer Stuart Lamont said. “This is a fantastic way to showcase the great experiences you can have and memories you can create while caravanning and camping, through well known Australian personalities who also love the lifestyle.”

Gerry Ryan, founder of Jayco Australia, says Jayco is committed to support the growth of Australia’s caravan industry and we are pleased to partner with Mobile Living in its second season.

“Australia's love affair with caravanning is clear and we know that this holiday of choice is more popular than ever with total number of trips up 8.5 per cent on last year.*

“That’s why it is important that Jayco continues to look for innovative ways to share the true essence of caravanning to Australians and how caravanning holidays create memories that last a lifetime.

“Shows like Mobile Living provide us with the opportunity to share the ‘Jayco lifestyle’ to a new, wide-ranging audience across one of Australia’s major television national networks," says Mr Ryan.

Ingenia Communities Chief Operating Officer Nikki Fisher said Ingenia Holidays are proud to accommodate the upcoming Mobile Living series at prime destinations along the Queensland coastline.

“Ingenia Holidays believes in creating long lasting memories in places where people can find a sense of joy and happiness in their visit – whether a short stay, quick break or an adventure of a lifetime,” Ms Fisher said.

“Our holiday parks in sunny Noosa and Hervey Bay are really just like the Tourism Queensland tagline says– beautiful one day, perfect the next – and showcase an option to suit every holidaymaker no matter the season. Mobile Living will be a great example of the road tripping experience and the many activities on offer at Ingenia Holidays all year round.”

“Never before has it been more important to showcase the caravan and camping lifestyle to new audiences,” Dometic Australia CEO Brad Slater said. “With fresh, relatable hosts, the hope is they will speak to families and young people to get outside and experience everything our great industry has to offer.”
