On June 12th, Stockholm played host to a unique occasion for Destination Everywhere. Dometic in partnership with International Cycling Club run by Pas Normal Studios, Sweet Protection, and the local cycling crew Friends with bikes, brought together 82 cyclists for a golden-hour social ride through the Swedish capital—while 20 more gathered at basecamp to soak up the atmosphere.
The journey began at Eden, Smedsudden, where anticipation buzzed in the air as the group set off beneath Stockholm’s glowing evening sky. Refreshed from chilled energy drinks from Dometic coolers, riders cruised effortlessly through the city streets before crossing over to Lidingö island. The 43-kilometer loop offered sweeping views, gentle climbs, and the rhythmic sound of tires against pavement forming a symphony of summer freedom.
As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the ride culminated at the Sweet Protection office at Fiskartorpet, Norra Djurgården where the riders shared laughs, stories, and the much-loved Swedish classic tunnbrödsrullar—a savory roll that somehow tastes even better after a long ride.

SOCIAL RIDE
Destination Everywhere is more than just an event series—it's a statement. It speaks to a deeper purpose: building community through movement. Whether at a major international race, a local gathering, or an impromptu meet-up in a café parking lot, ICC’s rolling mission is clear—to connect, explore, and celebrate cycling as a global culture.
So, wherever you are in the world, if you see the van pull up, know that something special is about to happen. A ride, yes—but also a moment. A memory in motion. A destination that, for a few magical hours, is everywhere and nowhere at once..
FRIENDS WITH BIKES
Friends with bikes is a Stockholm-born cycling club founded by Franziska Engsner and today she runs the club together with Jennifer Kivinen, Greta Linander and Emma Ingemann. It’s a community of friends and friends of friends who bike together almost every week. By women, but for all. The only requirement for tagging a long is being friendly and sharing the moto of putting the team before the ego.
With a deep love for the outdoors and the thrill of being on the move, Franziska, Jennifer, and the rest of the team find joy in long-distance rides through remote, scenic landscapes—both across Sweden and beyond. Equipped with reliable camping gear, they sometimes stay overnight and venture even further, watching the kilometers pass by as they glide through ever-changing surroundings.
But it's not all about solitude and nature. The community equally embraces the energy of urban life—gathering for city rides that end with breakfasts at stylish cycling cafés or relaxed evenings of pizza and beer. Whether in the wild or the heart of the city, it’s all about sharing the ride and the experience.
Why do you think the biking communities are growing so much right now?
"The fantastic thing about cycling is that it's truly a team sport. Newer and more experienced cyclists can ride side by side and help each other develop, get faster, and perhaps most importantly – have fun on the bike together.
“Now that more young people are discovering cycling, we believe they’re looking for a community that focuses on togetherness and joy. Or, as we like to say at Friends with Bikes – ‘good times over gear and grams.’"

DESTINATION EVERYWHERE
Many have seen it, the colorfully striped PNS van rolling thoughout Europe. A support vehicle that makes Destination Everywhere live up to its name. The event van—fitted by Dometic—does more than just carry gear. It’s a hub, a gathering point, and a lifeline for riders on the road. Equipped with Dometic coolers, water jugs, a power-efficient lithium battery, and even shaded seating from a Dometic roof-mounted awning, the van is an essential part of the tour experience, creating a natural basecamp and offering comfort wherever the ride leads.
The Dometic GO storage boxes store equipment, power gels and on-the-go repair kits so riders can focus on what really matters: the ride itself. And with GO compact camp benches for post-ride lounging and recovery, the van becomes more than a vehicle—it’s a place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and the love of cycling grows.
"Destination Everywhere connects the PAS NORMAL STUDIOS BRAND with the community — and vice versa. beyond the social rides, the PNS van also serves as a physical space for connecting with ambassadors during trips and other gatherings".
