As a truck turns, pedestrians, cyclist and other motorists disappear into the blind spot area and out of the driver's view. The new Dometic MagicWatch MWE 4004 blind spot system proves indispensable in just such a scenario. Four sensors watch the critical blind spot area and the passenger side whilst turning. They switch on automatically when the vehicle moves at a manoeuvring speed and the driver gets a double warning. Visually, via the four-colour LED display in the cockpit and audibly via the loudspeaker.
