MPPT is the algorithm that allows you to always exploit the “Maximum Power Point Track” supplied by the panel. A charge regulator with MPPT technology (e.g., the Dometic NDS SUNCONTROL2 charge controllers) can achieve up to 25% more efficiency than a conventional controller with PWM technology. An MPPT regulator is ideal where space is limited, because in less space you get more energy!
The NDS N-BUS was developed to create a practical and functional network between energy management devices. The CI-BUS compatible system enables all devices in the NDS network to communicate with each other via a standard data cable. This type of connection allows for a continuous exchange of information between devices of different kinds connected together (Battery, DC-DC, Solar regulator, etc.) It makes the on-board energy system more efficient and safer: All devices in the network can be managed from a single controller. You can use a display or the NDS Mobile App (if there is at least one N-BUS and Bluetooth device in the network).
