General Terms and Conditions Dometic Apps (Dometic Climate, Mobile Cooling, Dometic Power)
effective as of January 1, 2026

1 Introduction, Agreement and Scope

1.1 Thank you for downloading the Dometic Climate/Mobile Cooling/Dometic Power App (the “App”).

1.2 These general terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern Your (as defined below) access to and use of the App and the basic or premium connectivity services provided by Dometic (as defined below) through the App from time to time (together, the “Services”).

1.3 The purpose of the Services is to enable You to remotely monitor and control the climate settings of the products supported from time to time and listed https://www.dometic.com/en/support/apps (the “Supported Products”).

1.4 By downloading the App, creating an Account (as defined below) and accepting these Terms and Conditions by clicking the “Accept” button, You acknowledge that You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be legally bound by them in connection with Your use of the Services.

1.5 Upon Your acceptance in accordance with Section 1.4, a binding agreement for Your use of the Services is formed between You and Dometic Group AB Reg. No. 556829-4390, Hemvärnsgatan 15, 171 54 Solna, (“Dometic”) (the “Agreement”). If You do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not install, access, or use the App or the Services.

1.6 The Agreement consists of: (a) these Terms and Conditions; (b) Dometic’s Privacy Policy as updated from time to time and available in the App at https://www.dometic.com/en/app-privacy-notice ; (c) any description of the Services made available in the App or at https://www.dometic.com/en/support/apps; and (d) any technical requirements or specifications expressly referenced in these documents and provided via hyperlink. In the event of any conflict, these Terms and Conditions prevail over any other versions of general terms and conditions and over any conflicting provisions in the documents listed in items (b)–(d), unless expressly stated otherwise.

1.7 For further information regarding how Dometic processes Your personal data, please see Dometic’s Privacy Policy as updated from time to time and available in the App at https://www.dometic.com/en/app-privacy-notice.

1.8 “You”, “Your” or “Yours” in these Terms and Conditions mean the natural person who is the holder of the Account (as defined below) to use the Services and Dometic’s counterparty to the Agreement.

1.9 Please note that Your purchase and use of the Supported Products are subject to separate terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase of the product, hardware or vehicle. These Terms and Conditions do not apply to such product, hardware or vehicle.

2 Requirements for Use

2.1 The App is accessible for download on App Store and Google Play.

2.2 To access the features in the App, including over-the-air updates, You shall register a personal account and connect one or several of the Supported Product(s) hereto (the “Account”). To create an Account, enter Your e-mail address and select a password in the App. Subsequently, You will be requested to activate the Account by following the instructions in the confirmation e-mail sent to You in connection with the registration process.

2.3 Further information on technical requirements, functions, network solutions, and user instruction applicable for Your use of the Services can be found at the following link: https://www.dometic.com/en/support/apps. You are responsible for ensuring that You meet the technical requirements which are imposed on You as a user in such instructions.

2.4 Dometic does not guarantee that the App is or shall remain compatible with a particular mobile device. In addition, You may need to keep Your mobile device’s software updated to continue accessing the App.

3 Your Responsibilities

3.1 When using the Services You undertake to comply with the following requirements:

(a) You are at least 18 years old (or otherwise legally authorized to enter into the Agreement with Dometic under applicable law)

(b) You shall only use the App and the Services for Your own non-commercial use, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You understand that any use of the App and the Services for commercial use is strictly prohibited.

(c) You are responsible for providing correct log-in credentials and provide a valid email address through which we may contact You.

(d) You shall keep the log-in information and password confidential and for storing it in a secure manner to prevent unauthorised access to Your Account.

(e) You are responsible for taking preventive measures and actions to protect Your IT systems (including the device on which You have installed the App) against viruses and other harmful code or content when using the Services. We recommend that You immediately notify Dometic if You notice any discrepancies, incorrect data, viruses or signs of corruption in information provided by the Services.

(f) You are fully responsible for any use of Your Account, including any use by any third party acting on Your behalf. Any violation of these Terms and Conditions by such users shall be deemed a violation by You.

(g) You shall not use the Services in a manner that violates good practices or applicable laws or regulations, including without limitation intellectual property, privacy and data protection laws, or any third-party rights.

(h) You shall not copy, decompile or recreate the Services or try to circumvent any security measures in the Services or in any other way use the Services in a manner that can negatively affect the Services, Dometic or any other person’s access to or use of the Services. Violation of this limitation or failure to comply may result in the termination of the Agreement without prior notice from Dometic. You may also be subject to legal action and liability.

(i) You are responsible for using the Services with care and precaution. It is Your responsibility to only use functions in the App when You are certain they pose no risk to persons or property. For example, do not turn on a device in a vehicle using the App, unless You are certain that it is safe to do so.

3.2 Dometic expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability for any modifications made to Your Supported Products or the Services, by You or by any third party acting on Your behalf.

4 Updates and Changes to the App or the Services

4.1 Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, Dometic shall provide the App in the latest version available at the time the Agreement is concluded.

4.2 Dometic shall inform You of, and provide, security updates and other necessary updates required to maintain the security and proper functioning of the App. Such updates shall be provided for a period of three (3) years or during the term of the Agreement, whichever is longer. If You do not install such updates within the prescribed period, or any other period specified by law, Dometic shall not be liable for any errors or deviations in the Services caused by the failure to install such updates.

4.3 In addition, Dometic reserves the right to make changes to the App or the Services, including by adding or removing features or functionalities in the App or the Services, as long as the change does not lead to any extra costs for You and You are informed hereof in accordance with what is stated below. Such changes may be needed as a result of adaptation to a new technical environment, security, legal compliance, performance or capacity improvements, error correction or comparable justified commercial reasons. If the change would impair Your access to or use of the App or the Services to more than an insignificant extent, You have the right to terminate the Agreement with immediate effect. This does not apply, however, if Dometic grants You the option of retaining the App or the Services without change and in error-free condition at no extra cost. If You wish to exercise Your right to terminate the Agreement pursuant to this section, Your notice of termination shall be provided to Dometic within thirty (30) days from the date when You received information from Dometic about the change, or the date on which the change was implemented, whichever is later. Upon termination, any pre‑paid amounts for the period after termination shall be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law.

5 Services Offered

5.1 Upon entering into the Agreement and creating an Account, You may from time to time be offered access to the following Services in the App:

(a) Connectivity features or functionality which are provided free of charge (“Basic Features”);

(b) Connectivity features or functionality which are free of charge, for which You provide or undertake to provide personal data and which Dometic does not process solely to fulfil its obligation to perform or comply with its legal requirement (“Basic Features Plus”); and

(c) through an integrated web shop on the App, You may be offered additional connectivity features or functionality which expand or change the Basic Features or the Basic Features Plus (“Premium Features”). Such Premium Features are provided only subject to Your acceptance of any specific terms applicable for such Premium Features and Your payment of the fees for such Premium Features. In such cases, the price, billing and payment terms, and other terms and conditions shall be specified when you are informed about such Premium Features and, in any event, before the Premium Feature in question is purchased.

6 Availability

6.1 Dometic uses commercially reasonable efforts to make the Basic Features and the Basic Features Plus normally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the Basic Features and the Basic Features Plus may be unavailable from time to time, and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dometic shall not be liable for any such unavailability. Access to such Basic Features or Basic Features Plus may, for example, be suspended, in whole or in part and without notice, for maintenance, updates, development, repairs, system failures, security incidents or other operational or technical reasons.

6.2 Unless otherwise agreed in the specific terms and conditions for the Premium Features, the Premium Features shall be made available in the same manner as set out in Section 6.1 above.

7.3 If You believe that a Basic Features Plus or a Premium Feature is defective (as defined in the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260)), You have a right to make a complaint regarding such defect in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260). Dometic shall handle any such complaints in accordance with Dometic’s obligations under applicable consumer legislation.

7.4 Dometic has no liability for any defects to Basic Features, unless Dometic has acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or if such liability cannot be excluded by applicable consumer legislation.

8 Prices and Payment Terms

8.1 Creating an Account, obtaining access to the App and using the Basic Features and Basic Features Plus are free of charge. The App is constantly being developed, and additional features and services beyond the free basic versions may therefore be offered at regular intervals. Additional features in the app may be or become subject to a fee (Premium Features). With regard to the use of Premium Features, the prices and payment terms shall be made available to You prior to any chargeable use. The prices valid at the time of booking shall apply.

8.2 The fees for Premium Features are payable immediately upon booking. All prices are shown in local currency, including VAT (where applicable). You are responsible for the payment of any taxes, duties or charges, such as VAT, that are related to the Services.

8.3 If Premium Features are ordered via the App (“in-app subscription”), payments are processed via the respective app store. In such cases, the terms of use and payment conditions of the respective app store take precedence over these terms of use. In the event of a conflict between the app store terms and conditions and these Terms and Conditions, the app store terms and conditions shall take precedence.

8.4 We shall provide advance notice of any new or increased fees and give You the opportunity to discontinue Your use of the Services and terminate this Agreement before the fees take effect. If You do not accept the changes, You may terminate the Services and this Agreement before the change enters into force.

9 Right of Withdrawal

9.1 Unless You have expressly waived your right of withdrawal, You have a statutory right of withdrawal that expires 14 days after the date on which the Agreement was concluded and which can be exercised at any time during these 14 days. Your right of withdrawal expires in the following cases:

By creating an Account and accepting these Terms and Conditions, You expressly agree that you shall have immediate access to the Services via your Account, which means that you have no statutory right of withdrawal (Sw. ångerrätt), because the Services are delivered immediately when you access the Service. You therefore agree that you have no right of withdrawal. However, you can always terminate the Service in accordance with Section 14 below.

If You sign up for Premium Features, You expressly agree that you will have immediate access to such services via your Account after your purchase, which means that You have no statutory right of withdrawal (Sw. ångerrätt) because the Services are delivered immediately after purchase, and You agree that Dometic shall automatically charge You each payment period until You terminate the relevant services. However, You can always terminate the Service in accordance with Section 14 below.

9.2 Regardless of what is stated above, if You enter into this Agreement in connection with Your purchase of a Supported Product, You may withdraw from this Agreement if and as long as You have a right of withdrawal of such Supported Product. If this is the case, we ask You to inform us that you wish to withdraw from this Agreement in connection with Your withdrawal from Your purchase of the Supported Product. For information on how You withdraw from Your purchase of the Supported Product, please consult the terms and conditions applicable for Your purchase of the Supported Product (as referred to in Section 1.9).

9.3 If You decide to withdraw from the Agreement in accordance with the above, we shall, without undue delay, refund all payments we have received from You in connection with the Agreement (if any). If You have used the Services in question before exercising Your right of withdrawal, we may charge a reasonable amount for that usage.

10 Specific Terms for App-Store Apps

10.1 If you accessed or downloaded the App from App Store or Google Play (each, an “App Provider”), then You acknowledge and agree:

(a) only to use the App in accordance with what is permitted in any user terms provided by the App Provider. Moreover, these Terms and Conditions have been agreed between You and Dometic, and not with the App Provider, or between Dometic and the App Provider. Dometic alone is liable for the App and the content thereof. Therefore, the App Provider has no liability to provide any maintenance or support services as regards the App; and

(b) if the App does not fulfil any applicable warranty, You can notify the App Provider and receive a refund for the purchase price of the App (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App Provider has no other warranty liability as regards the App.

10.2 If You are using the App designed for use on an Apple iOS-powered mobile device (an “iOS App”) You also:

(a) agree that Dometic, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by You or any third-party relating to the iOS App or Your possession and/or use of the iOS App, including, but not limited to, (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the iOS App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation, and all such claims are governed solely by this Agreement and any law applicable to Dometic as provider of the iOS App;

(b) agree that Dometic, and not Apple, shall be responsible, to the extent required by these Terms and Conditions, for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim related to the iOS App or Your possession and use of the iOS App;

(c) represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government or any other embargos or sanctions, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government, the EU or UK as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) You are not listed on any list of prohibited or restricted parties;

(d) agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the iOS App (e.g., You shall not be in violation of Your wireless data service agreement when using the iOS App); and

(e) agree that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries to these Terms and Conditions. Upon Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions Apple have the right (and shall be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms and Conditions against You as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

11 Information and Material published by Dometic

Although Dometic strives to ensure that all information provided in the App or on the Services, whether by Dometic or any of its subsidiaries are correct, errors may occur (e.g. due to technical reasons such as network errors, transmission errors, etc.). Dometic reserves the right to modify, update or remove information and material provided in the App, at any time and without prior notice. The information and material in the App may be out of date and Dometic makes no commitment to update such information and material.

12 Intellectual Property Rights, License, etc.

12.1 All intellectual property rights, title, and interest in and to the App and the Services, and all content made available through them (including but not limited to any software), are owned by Dometic or its licensors. Unless permitted by these Terms and Conditions, no rights are granted to You by license or otherwise.

12.2 Subject to Your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, Dometic grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services for Your personal lawful use during the term of this Agreement. The license is provided to You as an individual user, unless otherwise expressly permitted under these Terms and Conditions.

12.3 All rights to trademarks, company logos, domain names and symbols of Dometic or Dometic licensees’ intellectual property rights used or linked in the Services belong to their respective owners and all rights to them are reserved.

13 Liability and Limitation of Liability

13.1 Except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions or under applicable consumer legislation, Dometic shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or other damages incurred by You.

13.2 Under no circumstances shall Dometic be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity, whether direct, indirect, or consequential.

13.3 Dometic shall furthermore not be liable for any damage or defect arising from:

(a) incorrect or unintended installation, configuration, maintenance, use or repair of the App or the Services by You or any third party acting on Your behalf; or

(b) use of modifications, plug-ins, third-party add-ons, or integrations not provided or approved by Dometic.

In each of the foregoing cases, You, or, where applicable, the relevant third party, shall bear all resulting costs. You are hereby reminded that improper installation, use, or maintenance of the App or the Services in a manner not in accordance with Dometic’s instructions or user manuals may result in damage to the App or the Service.

13.4 Dometic shall furthermore not liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions that are related to events beyond its reasonable control, including fire, flood, extreme weather, natural disasters, explosions, war (whether declared or not), acts of terrorism, labor disputes (whether its employees are involved or not), epidemics, pandemics, difficulties in delivery due to circumstances specified herein affecting Dometic or its subcontractors, acts of local authorities, the state or other competent authorities or other force majeure events in accordance with applicable law.

13.5 For clarity, it is important to note that Dometic’s liability under the Agreement is not subject to limitations for intentional or grossly negligent acts to the extent that applicable law would prohibit such limitations and for other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

14 Term and Termination of the Agreement

14.1 These Terms and Conditions apply as long as Your Account in the App is active or as long as Dometic continues to make the Services available.

14.2 You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting Your Account in the App (and, if applicable, uninstalling the App) or by manually advising Dometic to delete Your Account. If You have an ongoing subscription for Premium Features, termination shall, unless otherwise agreed take effect at the end of the current billing period.

14.3 Dometic may terminate this Agreement and/or Your Account immediately in case of Your violation of these Terms and Conditions. Dometic may also terminate this Agreement and/or Your Account for convenience by giving thirty (30) days’ prior written notice.

15 Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

Dometic reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time if it is needed for regulatory reasons, functional or technical development of the Services or for commercial reasons that are reasonable. Dometic shall provide You with at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice in the App of any amendments it considers to be material. You are under no obligation to continue using the App following any amendments to the Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of the App after such amendments shall be deemed to constitute Your acceptance of those amendments. The latest amendment date is stated at the top of the document. The latest updated version of the Terms and Conditions is always available on Dometic's website OR in the App.

16 Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 Unless otherwise required by applicable consumer legislation, the Agreement and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish substantive laws.

16.2 In the event of a dispute, our aim is always to find the best possible solution. If Dometic’s customer service department cannot resolve the matter, You may refer to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Sw. ARN). For more information, visit www.arn.se. You can also contact ARN via the address P.O. Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. ARN can give You more information about its procedure and answer any questions You may have in relation thereto.

16.3 Any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions, or otherwise relating to the legal relationship between You and Dometic, which cannot be resolved as described above, shall be finally settled by Swedish courts. The foregoing in this Section 16.3 shall, however, not apply if mandatory laws in Your country of residence require that You may elect to bring an action in Your country of residence, or that Dometic may bring an action only in Your country of residence.
