This highly efficient solar charge controller is intended for use in systems where the solar voltage input is less than the battery voltage. It converts any voltage from a solar panel to the battery's ideal charging voltage, protecting the battery from overcharging. Rated for a solar current input of 12 amps, the device can be used in 24, 36 or 48 V battery systems (lead acid as well as LiFePO4).
