Our Commitment to Accessibility
Dometic is committed to making our website's content accessible and user friendly to everyone. If you are having difficulty viewing or navigating the content on this website, or notice any content, feature, or functionality that you believe is not fully accessible to people with disabilities, please contact our Customer Service team using the contact form below and provide a description of the specific feature you feel is not fully accessible or a suggestion for improvement. We take your feedback seriously and will consider it as we evaluate ways to accommodate all of our customers and our overall accessibility policies. Additionally, while we do not control such vendors, we strongly encourage vendors of third-party digital content to provide content that is accessible and user friendly.
Following two in-depth accessibility audits, we’ve implemented a wide range of improvements to enhance the experience for all users—especially those relying on assistive technologies.
We improved keyboard navigation and focus management across key components, including product listings, modals, mobile menus, and filter panels. The tab order is now more logical, and focus is properly handled when panels open or new content loads. We also made the “Skip to main content” link more descriptive and localized.
To support screen readers, we added missing alt texts, corrected heading structures, and ensured all interactive elements—such as variant swatches, quick filters, and dropdowns—have accessible labels. Decorative images, like flag icons, are now properly hidden from screen readers, and invalid ARIA attributes were removed or replaced.
Visual improvements include better contrast for promotional text, color dots, price history, error messages, and focus indicators. We also introduced clearer visual cues for product links where applicable.
Form elements were updated with proper autocomplete attributes, accessible names, and clearer error validation. We eliminated distracting animations and refined the behavior of search and filter panels to ensure a smoother, more inclusive experience.
These changes mark a strong step forward in accessibility compliance and help ensure our site is usable, navigable, and welcoming to all.
While we've made strong progress, some accessibility improvements are still ongoing. We are continuing to add more accurate alt texts, improve video accessibility, and refine overall usability for assistive technologies. In parallel, we are also continuously updating translations to ensure a consistent and accessible experience across all supported languages.
